Agitation schedule:
Day Long Hunger Fast on 27th, 28th & 29th September 2016
Demands:
1. Immediate replacement of intermediary pay scales of E1-A and E2-A by standard pay scales of E2 and E3 for JTO and SDE equivalent cadres w.e.f 01.01.2007 as per the recommendation of the Joint Committee.
2. Extending 30% Superannuation benefit to BSNL recruited Employees as per the recommendation of 2nd PRC.
3. Implementation of CPSU Cadre Hierarchy and first Time Bound Promotion as per the recommendation of Joint committee.
Full Day Dharna on 7th September.
Full Day Dharna called by United Forum (AIGETOA, AIBSNLEA & SNEA) received an overwhelming response at all SSAs. Dharna to be continued on second day 7th September as well. All DRs are requested to participate in the dharna tomorrow, District Secretaries please ensure 100% participation of executives in Dharna Programme.
All members are requested to participate in the Full Day Dharna on 6th & 7th September.

In this season of claims and counter claims, AIGETOA requests its members to follow the call of UNITED FORUM in totality and 100 percent participation should be ensured.
We request members to not to be deviated from the claims and counter claims and concentrate on the agitation call..All the issues are of utmost importance to the Direct Recruits and no body else will fight for us other than us..everybody is aware in their hearts who is fighting for whom..so don't focus on the visibility and campaigns..Focus on actual work on the ground..actual work on ground only will bring result and that can be achieved through our fullest dedication and commitment only...
Therefore without waiting for what others are doing, ensure your participation and 100 percent support.
It took mammoth efforts to bring issues and fight to this level..we should not let it go and utilise each and every opportunity..

The DoPT case came for hearing today. Advocate, engaged from Corporate office also attended the hearing today. Three sets of lawyers vouching for Direct Recruit side succeeded in appraising Hon. Court regarding injustice happened to JTO cadre in fixation of seniority. Lawyers engaged by some associations along with BSNL tried to defend the same.
The case is further posted to September 22nd. The direction to BSNL for submission of correct seniority list continues. We are sure that once BSNL publishes an All India seniority list in JTO cadre stalemate will end.
"Lunch Hour Demonstration" held today by United Forum (AIGETOA, AIBSNLEA & SNEA) was a Grand Success.
Congratulations! In the case filed by AIGETOA at Hon'ble CAT Chandigarh, The court has pronounced Final Judgment and has directed DoT to issue presidential orders for replacement of Pay Scales of E1A and E2A with Standard Pay Scales within two months and payment of arrears w.e.f. 01.01.2007 within three months.
Since Board has already approved standard pay scales of E2 and E3 and has sent the proposal to DoT for issuance of Presidential Orders, now BSNL is not in a position to challenge these orders Hon'ble CAT Chandigarh and DoT does not have any other option then to approve E2 and E3 in place of E1A and E2A. Therefore extension of E2 and E3 is almost a certainty now.
Friends strategy of AIGETOA to follow a multidimensional approach where one side we were pursuing at Court to get justice and on the other side pursuing BSNL Board to send the final proposal to DoT for replacement of scales have worked, now it becomes our responsibility to get this order implemented at the earliest.

In view of the refusal of the pay scale proposal by DoT, the further course of action was discussed among AIBSNLEA, AIGETOA and SNEA. The three associations have decided to launch immediate and hard trade union actions. United Forum of BSNL Executive Associations comprising AIBSNLEA, AIGETOA and SNEA served notice for organizational actions protesting against the inordinate delay in implementation of..
1. Standard pay scales of E2 and E3 for JTO, SDE and equivalent cadres
2. 30% superannuation benefit for BSNL Recruited Employees
3. Implementation of CPSU Cadre Hierarchy and first TBP
