Our Circle team met GM HR/Admin to discuss about the proposed online attendance system. We shared our concerns over the same. It was assured to us that necessary clarifications and requirements will be incorporated.

Onam is traditionally a harvest festival of Kerala and is a moment of nostalgia for every Keralaite. The 10 day colourful festival culminating with Thiruvonam is undoubtedly an event that unites the diverse Kerala society and its vast Diaspora overseas.
On this festive occasion, AIGETOA Kerala extend our warm wishes to entire BSNL fraternity in Kerala and their family members. May you all be blessed with happiness and prosperity in life. Wishing you lots of good fortune and accomplishment. May your life be as colourful as the colour of Onam.
For AIGETOA Kerala, this Onam is sweeter because it comes immediately after AIGETOA is designated as Recognised Majority Representative Association in BSNL. It is a cheerful culmination of years of dedicated team work and systematic hard work for Team AIGETOA. We once again congratulate all those warriors and flag bearers of AIGETOA Kerala who worked against odds to make this dream a reality. However we are aware that we can’t be in oblivion to the fact that this recognition tag has shouldered enormous responsibility on us to represent the entire BSNL executive fraternity in Kerala in an equitable manner. We shall not disappoint our well wishers in this regard.
Kerala circle is always a top performer and a front runner in BSNL in terms of performance. Despite its moderate geographical size out of the 11 SSAs in Kerala, 1 SSA is made as “Very Large BA”, 6 SSAs are made as “Large BA” and 4 SSAs are made as “Medium BA” in latest consolidation and rationalization of work guidelines issued by BSNL. It is an indication of the importance Kerala circle plays in BSNL revenue and performance. Further outsourcing guidelines introduced by BSNL CO after VRS has entrusted a new challenge for BSNL –i.e the need for reach out, motivation and managing our partners for a mutually beneficial relationship. It is in addition to the traditional challenges in Sales and Marketing, Procurement and vendor management, Workforce and customer management etc. Let us hope Onam 2020 induces a new vigour and vitality to BSNL & BSNL Kerala in these directions and it will to continue to be a beacon light and torch bearer.
Not to mention, Covid-19 pandemic has indeed cast a shadow over Onam celebrations 2020. We need to be responsible citizens at this critical juncture and careful in following social distancing norms and various guidelines issued by authorities. We also need to empathetic to society and receptive to the needs of the less privileged during this pandemic. Let us pledge to remain vigilant, alert and humane amid these festivities during a pandemic.

Finally the result of 2nd EMV conducted on 18/08/2020 are released and AIGETOA has emerged as the Recognised Majority Representative Association in BSNL. We congratulate all executives for their esteemed participation and the overwhelming support extended to AIGETOA. We are elated on this performance and it is a dream comes true for us. We have stood the test of time and worked tirelessly keeping faith on our beliefs. We remain composed and reiterate our commitment to work tirelessly and dedicate ourselves for building a more vibrant and inclusive BSNL 2.0.
On this historic day when we look back, we recognise that it was a tough journey for an association that took birth on 21/11/2005 and couldn’t dream of reaching where we are today, but for the firm commitment and dedication of our members. The virtues and shared values that define this association has been a source of inspiration and a strong bond for our team work. We also recognise that this victory or the recognition tag is an entitlement to represent all executives shared aspirations before the management. Our tryst with the real success will be the day when we can have the resolution of our real issues and turn around BSNL. We remain committed to leave no stone unturned till this is achieved.
This historic day would not have been a reality but for the hard work and sacrifices of many of our colleagues at All India level and at Circle level including our founding members. The active participation of our dynamic AIP and GS along with the entire CHQ team in day to day affairs of Kerala circle body has left an indelible mark on us and ignited our quest to excel. The hard work and sleepless nights put forth by many of our office bearers and members in the CHQ, Circle Body and SSA bodies in last few years need a special mention. We would like to assure them that you have sweated it out with a purpose. Your hard work has carved out a new sunrise – a new beginning, where we can feel a level of involvement and entitlement on decisions of management regarding issues that concerned to our day to day professional life. Let us continue to work for a more professional work environment within BSNL.
On this day, we also extend our special thanks to the Office Bearers and members of our alliance partners of SEWA and ABLE for their valuable support and blessings during this E MV and this shall remain a partnership that we will cherish for the years to come. AIGETOA has never hid the fact that it is a platform that is synonymous with the Pay, Promotion, Pension aspirations of BSNL executives and also profitability and viability of BSNL. While we remain committed to this cause, we also believe that sufficient space exists in BSNL for all cadres to coexist with mutual respect, provided a conducive environment exists. It shall be our endeavour to work towards it and we reiterate our commitment before the MV - to work as an association for all executives. It is our honest assurance that we shall abide by this promise. We believe in Unity, but we believe in Unity through Equity and not in something farce as labeling a show of predominance and gimmicks as a show of Unity!
We also have no qualms in congratulating other associations who participated in MV for their performance. However we request them that at this juncture, we need to remind ourselves of the fact that the real success lies in resolution of issues and turning around BSNL. Let us pledge to keep our differences apart when we work for BSNL and reaffirm our commitment to turn around BSNL by offering an olive branch to management on constructive suggestions from them and acting as an alert watchdog on matters that are detrimental to the company as well as employees. Let us learn to keep the usurping tactics and incidents for one-upmanship at bay and work with a shared vision of a more vibrant and inclusive BSNL 2.0. It is then that we will be able to achieve the real “Unity of executives” in BSNL!

AIGETOA Kerala expresses our heartful thanks to all Executives who participated in the 2nd MV Voting completed today.
We extend our deep gratitude to the management and administration under the leadership of CGM in circle office and GMs in different BA. The membership verification would not have been a smooth and successful affair, but for the dedicated work of different teams including ROs/AROs/Observers/Presiding Officers/ and Polling Teams.
We also need to extend our special thanks to Office Bearers and members of our alliance partners of SEWA and ABLE. We are confident that this will remain a partnership that we will cherish for the years to come.
Further we will be failing in our duty if we don't acknowledge the tremendous support from CHQ. The web meetings and talk shows held by our dynamic AIP and GS and their active participation in various stages of our campaign was our driving source of inspiration and energy. We also acknowledge the hard work put forth by our office bearers and ordinary members in the circle body and SSA bodies in last few weeks. We are confident that the effort put forth by you will have a lasting impact in shaping BSNL 2.0. Congratulations and Best wishes to one and all.

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
The active campaigning period for the 2nd Membership Verification (MV) of Executive Associations in BSNL which is due on 18/08/2020 has come to an end. This MV has come at an opportune time as BSNL is at the cusp of a major internal generational change due to the impending restructuring exercise after VRS to take on the predatory competition outside in the telecom sector. We are confident that each and every executive recognise the significance of this MV and utilise their voting rights in the best interests of self and BSNL.
However, it has come to our notice that some misleading campaign - purportedly by a team which is worried of their defeat – that the voting for 2nd MV is not a secret ballot and the vote exercised by an executive can be easily identified, is going on in some sections. We would like to assure all executives that it is not true and the polled votes at a booth will be brought to the Counting centre at BA head quarters and mixed thoroughly before counting. We hereby produce the verbatim of the BSNL guidelines in this regard.
This should put to rest the concerns if any, by any executive regarding exercising his or her franchise in a free and fair manner.
We once again exhort one and all executives who cares for BSNL to participate in this MV and cast their vote in a decisive manner for the betterment of BSNL.
National Anthem - a one of a kind AI powered musical experiment
AIGETOA Kerala submitted a proposal for considering an urban cluster from Kerala circle for 4G pilot testing. Recently we are going with some media reports with regard to proposals from ITI - Tech Mahindra in this regard.
AIGETOA Kerala submitted the matter of pending reimbursement of Security deposit ( Rs-5000/- ) which was paid at the time of joining to the executives who have completed 5 years of service. There are many executives who came under transfers form other states yet to get this amount reimbursed.
AIGETOA Kerala represented one more submission towards the panic situation that employees and their families are getting into, due to the Covid-19 community spread reports across the state. Now there are many containment zones declared in the state and the cases are getting increasing day by day. The real matter of concern is with regard to the disease spread through contacts and availability of asymptomatic patients. We are sure that such CBMs (Confident Building Measures) will enhance employee and their families’ confidence. We humbly requested CGMT to do the needful for necessary guidelines , instructions and initiatives accordingly considering the severity of the situation.

Friends, we want a professional work culture in BSNL to regain the dignity of Executives in BSNL. We want to address the financial loss (occuring on account Pay anomalies and Super Annuation dues) at the earliest. We want immediate promotion to those who are waiting endlessly as well as a fast track promotion opportunity for our young colleagues to fulfill their aspirations of career growth. Definitely we want a secured future through implementation of complete 30% SAB and better medical care through Health Insurance scheme to all executives by BSNL. We assured a create a better life for all Executives in BSNL 2.0
On this accasion, it's my prievlage to thank all my colleagues and CHQ/Circle/District OBs, who tirelessly work to spread the message of unity, honesty, integrity and dedication of aigetoa towards our issues and the company both. I can say that it is almost impossible to think such dream without your sacrifice and contribution of days and nights for AIGETOA.
