As per the provisions in AIGETOA Constitution, the AGM cum Election of AIGETOA Trivandrum body will be held at Trivandrum on 24th August 2019. The Members of AIGETOA Trivandrum will constitute the election collegium.

AIGETOA has been in touch with various authorities in government regarding revival plan of BSNL for last several months. After the formation of new union government, we are trying to carry forward our work and we had recently represented before Hon'ble Prime Minister PMO for revival of BSNL and making BSNL a performance oriented company. The AIGETOA letter is now getting wide applauds across executives, after today's news.

AIGETOA always believe in doing the work diligently and we are confident that results will follow. We had represented the matter with PMO earlier. And the results are expected in the line. As can be seen from the report, MoC of state has already Pointed that revival package will be placed in 3 to 4 Months before cabinet.

It goes without saying that, Difference in priorities always visible, one side is crying against reduction of retirement age another side is trying for the revival of BSNL and save the bread and butter of BSNL Recruit Executives. We have also met Hon'ble MPs and have requested them to raise the issue of BSNL revival at the highest echelons of governance including in parliament. The results for the same may be visible soon.

JTO to SDE Promotion Review petition status :

Detailed hearing took place at Hon'ble High Court, Ernakulam with regard to the review petitions filed by BSNL and members of AIBSNLEA & SNEA against BSNL recruit engaged counsels. After arguments from both sides it is learnt that the judgement is reserved. Till that time, proceedings on contempt will be status quo. Hon'ble court also observed that there is no hindrance for promotions. Further Details will be shared soon....

Meeting with PGMT, Ernakulam on Pending Transfer requests from Idukki to Ernakulam

AIGETOA team met PGMT Ernakulam and submitted early resolution of pending transfer requests from Idukki ( SSA)  tenure area to Ernakulam, inline with our earlier meetings and discussions. The recent clarification from corporate office wrt consideration of transfer requests with own cost and Rural/Urban, cleared the confusion whatsoever available.In this scenario we requested with administration to have a favourable consideration on executives who already completed the stipulated 2 year as the case may be. Infact there are executives who have completed even three years of service at Idukki.

ONLINE NOMINATIONS FOR NEW GOVERNING BODY OF AIGETOA CHQ

As per the provision of constitution of AIGETOA and resolutions of CEC held on 13th & 14th April-2019 at New Delhi, AGM/AIC of the association notified to be held on 11th, 12th & 13th July 2019 at NCR Region Delhi.

Online nomination are called for new governing body of AIGETOA CHQ from 5th June 2019 to 15th June 2019. Any valid member of the association can file his nomination. Visit CHQ website for online nomination form
