AIGETOA Kerala Circle Executive Meeting

The circle executive of AIGETOA KERALA held at AMMU REGENCY Thrissur on 09/08/2014. The meeting discussed various issues of our members and issues in general. The house has decided to entrust the Calicut SSA regarding the handing over of the fund collected in the name of Late Sri. Anil George JTO BSS wayanad.
The house had unanimously decided to nominate Mr. Ramachandran V K SDE NSS Calicut as acting Circle secretary .
The house also decided to fill the vacant posts in the circle committee with the following members
1. Vice President - Ansal Muhammed (SDE BSS Kottayam)
2. Assistant Circle secretary - Saheer .S (SDE AT Trissur)
3. Circle executive committee member - Madhumohan (JTO IT TVM)
The house approved all the above nominations .
The house expressed its strong resentment towards the AIGETOA CHQ regarding the recent updates in the CHQ website with respect to an agitation by some other association and requested the CHQ to take the circle in to confidence before coming to a conclusion in such cases in future.
The circle committee decided to nominate the following circle committee members for attending the AGM to be held at Hyderabad on 22 and 23rd August 2014.

2. Ramachandran VK Circle Secretary
3. Haridasan Assistant Circle Secretary
The committee decided to follow up the pending transfer case of our members at circle level.
After the circle committee meeting the coordination meeting with AIBSNLEA also held in the same venue.

Circle Level Co-ordination Committee of A.I.B.S.N.L.E.A & A.I.G.E.T.O.A   has been constituted in Kerala in a combined meeting of circle office-bearers of both the associations, held on 9-8-2014 at , Trichur.

AIGETOA Circle President Sri.Rajesh welcomed all the office bears of both the association and briefed about the recent developments which leads for such a co ordination and emphasis the need of the hour. Sri. Mangalandan Circle secretary AIBSNLEA have detailed about the coordination and the recent developments pertaining to Kerala circle.

The formation of the circle level committee is follows:-

Chairman - Sri. T.K.Mangalanandan, (Circle Secretary,AIBSNLEA)

Convener - Sri. V.K.Ramachandran, SDE, NSS, Calicut(Circle Secretary, AIGETOA)

Vice-Chairman I - Sri.Haridasan, SDE, PGT, (ACS, AIGETOA)

Vice-ChairmanII -Sri.A.C.Shaji, CAO, TCR(Dist. President, AIBSNLEA)

Joint Conveners : Sri.AbdulBasith SDE,Kannur(Org.Secretary, AIGETOA)& Sri. B.Vijaya kumar JAO, PGM's office, EKM( AIBSNLEA)

Treasurer - Sri. K.Vijay, SDE Intl, MLP ( District Secretary, AIGETOA, MLP).

All office-bearers / members of circle executive committees of both the associations will be members of the co- ordination committee.

The meeting decided to take up all common issues jointly, as stipulated in the MOU between the two associations. State-wide campaign in connection with referendem for membership verification will be arranged by this coordination committee in liaison with the local co-ordination committees.

All District secretaries are requested to contact the AIBSNLEA District office bearers to form the co-ordination committee at SSA level at the earliest.

Thrissur SSA General Body Meeting conducted on 6th August

Thrissur SSA General Body meeting conducted at Thrissur Pattalam road Exchange.  Shri. S.S.Thambi (ITS) PGM,TCR inaugurated the function . Shri. P.Suresh DGM (Admin) was the chief guest of the function. Almost all members attended the meeting and actively participated.

Baiju Raghavan (SDE Comp) elected as Asst. Secretary.

DOPT case posted for 23rd August

After hearing the arguments of Direct Recruits, The Hon. court posted the hearing to 23rd August. The direction to BSNL management for finalising & submission of JTO all India gradation list in accordance with DOPT guidelines,rules still continue.  The same BSNL corporate office have not done sofar.

Members are requested to discharge their duties as usual and do not fall in any type of false messages from any corner.

The main reason behind the agitation by one of the association is to oppose the implementation of long stay transfer policy & also it is suspected that so called agitation have the hidden agenda of derailing the implementation of DOPT guidlines in BSNL Kerala Circle. Tarnishing the image of BSNL infront of Public for this reason (for the last one month period) is beyond imagination.

AIGETOA Kerala circle team met with CGMT in his chamber on 22nd July 2014 at Circle Office.
The meeting was attended by Sri Satyamurthy K-  GM (in charge of HR/Admn), Sri Nirmal PG - GM (BP/IT, S/M CFA), Sri James Sagaya Raj - DGM (Admn & HR), Sri. Kalaimohan - AGM (Legal), Smt Girija - SDE HR-III, Smt Shobha VK, and Sri Ani VS. From Association side Sri Rajesh C - Circle President, Sri Prasad Raj RV - TVM DP, Sri Hari S - TVM DS, and Sri Madhumohan -Legal Committee were present.

CGMT Kerala took note of our associations wholehearted cooperation to increase the effectiveness and profitability of BSNL. Association discussed different issues with the circle management including issues related with HR, operational and developmental activities in Kerala circle

HR ISSUES

1. Publishing the Circle gradation List in JTO cadre

2. Unauthorised extension of Look after arrangement in SDE Cadre in Kerala circle,

3. Streamlining of HR section in Circle office

4. Confirmation order to 2009 batch JTOs.

5. Inter SSA transfer cases

6. Remuneration to ASAP Trainers

Operation and developmental issues

1.O&M issues in MS Kerala

(i) power plant and DG repair issues

(ii)Proper AMC issues for Huwei, Electrical wing

(iii)Installation /replacement of proper battery at required BTS

2. Payment of commission to DSA/ shoppee through Sancharsoft

3. HUNGAMA activation through CRM only.

4.Adequate supply of drop wire and 5 pr cables to the field units

The meeting was held in a very cordial manner and CGMT responded in a very positive manner assuring settlements of these issues at the earliest.
