The 7th Circle Conference of AIGETOA Kerala was held in a grand and dignified manner at Hotel Yash International, Kozhikode, on 28 January 2026. The conference witnessed massive participation from the AIGETOA Kerala collegium, Circle and District office bearers, and members representing various Business Areas (BAs) of BSNL Kerala, reflecting the unity and strength of the association.
The conference was attended by senior office bearers from AIGETOA Central Headquarters, including General Secretary Sri. Ravishil Verma, All India President Sri. Veerabhadra Rao, Assistant General Secretary Sri. Ansal Mohammed C. H., and Joint Secretary (South) Sri. Nithya Jerald. The conference was presided over by Circle President Sri. Muhammadali M. C.
Open Session
The Open Session commenced with the BSNL Prayer Song, followed by the inauguration through lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest Sri. R. Saji Kumar, ITS, CGMT, BSNL Kerala, along with other dignitaries on the dais.
The Open Session welcome address was delivered by Sri. Anoopdas, Assistant Circle Secretary, AIGETOA Kerala, followed by the Presidential Address by Circle President Sri. Muhammadali M. C. Thereafter, various dignitaries addressed the gathering, deliberating on the theme of the Open Session and sharing their valuable views.
The Open Session was graced by the presence of senior BSNL management officials including Sri. P. G. Nirmal, ITS, PGM (EB); Sri. R. Sathesh, Sr. GM (HR/Admin); Smt. Saniya Abdul Latheef, Sr. GM (Malappuram); Sri. Krishan Kumar Agrawal, GMT (Kozhikode); and Sri. Bhuvanesh Kumar Yadav, GMT (Kannur).
From the AIGETOA Circle Committee, the dais was occupied by Circle President Sri. Muhammadali M. C., Circle Secretary Sri. Maxmilan K., Circle Finance Secretary Sri. Sambhu Chandran, and Circle Chairman Sri. Saheer S.
Morning Session Proceedings
The morning session of the conference began with a silent prayer, followed by a warm welcome address by Sri. Ramachandran V. K., District Secretary, AIGETOA Kozhikode. Subsequently, the flag hoisting ceremony was conducted by the Circle President, accompanied by AIGETOA CHQ and Circle-level leaders.
General Secretary Sri. Ravishil Verma presented a comprehensive status report covering key organisational and service matters, including Pay Scale and PRC issues, pay loss matters, SAB and pension-related concerns, promotion status across various cadres, and transfer-related issues, which generated active interest and discussion among the delegates.

After detailed discussions and deliberations by the dignitaries on the dais, the session concluded with felicitations, followed by a vote of thanks proposed by Sri. Sambhu Chandran, Circle Finance Secretary, AIGETOA Kerala.
The entire programme was efficiently and gracefully anchored by Sri. Sandeep, Smt. Shibi, Smt. Anusree, and Sri. Bipin, ensuring the smooth conduct of all sessions.
The Open Session of the conference concluded on a positive and purposeful note, reaffirming AIGETOA Kerala’s commitment to protecting the interests of executives and contributing constructively to the progress and stability of BSNL.
Afternoon Session – AGM & Election Proceedings
The post-lunch session of the 7th Circle Conference of AIGETOA Kerala commenced at 3:30 PM. The session was devoted to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) proceedings, including presentation of reports and election of the new Circle Governing Committee.
The Circle Term Report and Circle Finance Report for the period 2022–2025 were presented by Circle Secretary Sri. Maxmilan K. and Circle Finance Secretary Sri. Sambhu Chandran, respectively. After detailed discussions and deliberations, the AIGETOA Circle Collegium, with near to 90% physical presence, unanimously accepted and passed both the Circle Term Report and the Financial Report.
Subsequently, the existing Circle Committee for the term 2022–2025 was formally dissolved by Circle President Sri. Muhammadali M. C.
Election of New Circle Governing Committee
The election proceedings for constituting the AIGETOA Kerala Circle Governing Committee for the term 2026–2029 were initiated by the Returning Officer Sri. Joshi T. G. and Assistant Returning Officer Sri. Bijeesh K. P., in the presence of CHQ Observer Sri. Nithya Jerald.
The entire election process was conducted in a transparent and democratic manner, strictly adhering to the constitution and bylaws of AIGETOA, under the esteemed presence of All India President Sri. Veerabhadra Rao and General Secretary Sri. Ravishil Verma.

Oath Ceremony & Conclusion
Following the election, an Oath-Taking Ceremony was administered to the newly elected Circle Executive Committee members, affirming their commitment to uphold the constitution and bylaws of AIGETOA.
The conference proceedings concluded successfully at 6:30 PM, as per schedule. The AIGETOA Kerala Circle expresses its heartfelt gratitude to all delegates, office bearers, observers, and members who contributed to making the conference a grand success
