AIGETOA Thrissur’s 6th District Conference cum Annual General Meeting

The 6th District Conference cum Annual General Meeting of AIGETOA Thrissur was held on 28^th January 2025, at the Conference Hall of Hotel Pearl Regency, Thrissur. The event commenced with a delightful buffet lunch, served to all dignitaries and members before the official inauguration of the function.

Open Session Highlights:

The Open Session was presided over by Sri Jayadevan C V , District President of AIGETOA Thrissur. Sri. Chandrakumar O B , District Secretary, extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries and participants in attendance.

The session was graced by  the Chief guest Sri. Hari M S. Sr GM, BSNL Thrissur BA and DGM HQ Smt Molly Paul

The Chief Guest and Guests of Honour delivered inspiring speeches, emphasizing the importance of unified efforts for the betterment of BSNL and its employees. The Open Session was concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Sri. Amrit Aravind, District Vice President, AIGETOA Thrissur.

District Conference Organizational Proceedings:

The second part of the conference began with the presentation of the District Secretary’s Report by Sri. Chandrakumar O B., followed by the Finance Report by Sri. Sreejith SS. Both reports were unanimously accepted by the district collegium. The district governing body for the term 2021-2024 was subsequently dissolved by the District President, Sri Jayadevan C V.

Election of New District Governing Body: AIGETOA Thrissur

The election proceedings for the new district governing body were conducted by the Returning Officer, Smt Sumija Sudhakar , Circle Observer, Sri. Sambhu Chandran was also present to oversee the election process. The nominations were read out to the General Body . After detailed deliberations and discussions, the following executives were unanimously elected for the term 2025-2028:

The function concluded with the Oath-taking ceremony by the newly elected office bearers, followed by the formal handing over of minutes, financial statements, and account-related documents. Later on various matters related to BSNL , EPF , Legal , R-8 matters etc were queried from members and reply was given by the CEC Members .The 6th District Conference cum Annual General Meeting of AIGETOA Thrissur was a momentous occasion that highlighted the strength and unity of the association, ensuring a bright future for BSNL and its employees.
