[DPC Court Case | Stay Obtained from CAT, EKM ]


Our TN Web Site is happy to report:

It is reliably learnt that the DPC to JTO (T) to SDE (T) under 67% quota Stayed by Hon`ble CAT, Ernakulum. Our DR`s from Kerala filed an application on the new all India eligibility list published few months before, BSNL has not disposed on the said objections hence the Hon`ble CAT, Ernakulum has stayed the DPC until the disposal of the objection letter filed by our DR`s. Other Details along with tribunal order will be uploaded soon. This stay operates in tandem with our Roster Case Stay given by Hon`ble High Court of Madras.

[LDCE Results | Kerala Circle tops Results]


Candidates from Kerala Circle have performed better than their counterparts in other circles, with 44.57% of them converting their LDCE chance in this attempt. This compares favourably with the all-India average of 28.57%.

[SSA Meeting | Eranakulam]


Ernakulam SSA Meeting was held at Shikshak Sadan on June 8, 2012.
   The Meeting was presided over by Sri Ajithkumar, Circle Secretary. The meeting discussed at length the implications of the All-India Eligibility List recently published by BSNL Corporate Office, on our career prospects.

[AIGETOA Circle Executive Meeting | Eranakulam]


The Circle Executive Committee (CEC) meeting of AIGETOA Kerala Circle was held on 27th May 2012 at Shikshak Sadan, Ernakulam. The meeting started at 10 a.m.; Circle President presided.

AIGETOA District office-bearers participated in the meeting. A video conference was conducted with Sri. Shiloh Rao N.J.P., All-India President of AIGETOA. Sri Rao elaborated the current (difficult) situation of BSNL, and the difficulties it may present in the career progression of direct recruits. We should be alert the injustice that is being done to us, and militant in our attempt to redress it. District office-bearers also interacted with Sri Rao. Future course of action open to AIGETOA in furtherance of its objectives was discussed.
   The meeting concluded at 4 p.m.

All members are requested to analyze the `All India Eligibility list` published recently.

[AIGETOA Pathanamthitta SSA | Convened]


AIGETOA Pathanmthitta Unit was convened in the presence of Sri Ajithkumar V
Circle Secretary, AIGETOA Kerala

The formation of this new unit would bolster our association in its demands for equal representation of its members SSA members. Earlier, coordinating activities was felt to be difficult.

AIGETOA congratulates all elected officebearers and welcomes Pathanmthitta Unit.

[United Forum Agitation | Decisions]


Our Thiruvananthapuram Unit convened an extraordinary meeting to discuss the actions to be taken in respect to the agitation programme being organized by United Forum f BSNL executives to press for our common demands. AIGETOA is working with SNEA and AIBSNLEA, the other two executive associations in BSNL.

   We have decided to support the agitation programme and make it a grand success. Our Circle leadership is likely to lead us in the activities centred around CGMT`s Office.

   We request our members to galvanize support for the agitation and take part in it, and make it successful.

   The meeting was well attended and all the attending members actively took part in the discussion which led to the adoption of the resolution. We thank all the members who attended and made it a success.
